(More customer reviews)I don't need a full sized stand mixer, and after 30+ years, my old Hamilton Beach 2-speed finally broke--well the housing broke; I'm sure the motor would have gone on and on.So I checked mixer reviews all over the internet and it was between Kitchenaid and Cuisinart.Since, according to the reviews, both are great products, I went for the one on Amazon with the best price.I've used it a couple of times now and it's just great.If you don't need a totally high tech mixer and want something to stir up brownie batter, mash potatoes, and whip cream, look no further.
