(More customer reviews)I bought this because it had good reviews and because the kitchen aid and cusinart ones didn't. However, it didn't do what I expected a $300 machine to do. I didn't realise that the one touch button meant it was just on or off (my mistake), it won't grind hard spices not just because it destroys the plastic but it just can't do it. In fact it can't pulverise anything. I tried to make garlic paste but it wouldn't do it. It does slice really well, really quick, and really thin although there is quite a bit of waste.
If you use the small bowl it sprays a little bit into the big bowl which means you have to wash the whole thing.
